My Experience:

Tri Nature’s Dishwasher Powder has won Best Eco Friendly Product Award in it’s category in 2013 from the Australian Business Awards (the only year it was entered), so you know it has to be pretty good!

Unlike ordinary dishwasher powders, Citrus Dishwashing Powder contains no caustics or chlorinating compounds, providing you with peace of mind for the well-being of your whole family.

Did you know that dishwasher powder is normally the most toxic product in any household? With a caustic base, it can melt your esophagus, cause permanent damage and disfigurement and even result in death.

With tablets looking like lollies, it’s even more appealing to children. I may sound like I am exaggerating here but unfortunately it’s true and is the cause of hospitalisation of many children in Australia each year.

Tri Nature’s Citrus Dishwasher Powder poses none of these dangers.  My now 4 year old has eaten it so I can vouch for it’s safety. Not something I am proud of but it happened so fast. One minute I was putting it in the dispenser and the next minute she had it in her mouth straight out of the dispenser. It was definitely one of those “thank God it’s Tri Nature” moments.

I find you only need half a scoop (half a tablespoon) per load with this powder if you are on town water or rain water. It’s very effective and economical (roughly $0.23 per wash compared with $0.75 for some tablets). Most families find they save up to $10 per month switching to this product.

As with the laundry products, when you switch to Tri Nature, to get the best results, you need to finish off what you have and then descale your machine. Once you switch, don’t chop and change between products or the additives in the other products will prevent you from getting a proper feel for how good this product really is.

In areas with particularly hard water or over-treated water, it may be necessary to descale your machine several times to ensure all build up from water and previous products is removed. It can also pay to read the instructions for your machine and make sure your settings are correct for the wash type you are using.

Once again, I caution strongly against the use of Vinegar to descale here for a number of reasons. Among other issues, it can cause plastic and rubber parts of your machine to corrode and it will not be effective at removing build up from other products. Invest in a proper machine descaler such as Tri Nature’s Maxim.

As with the other Tri Nature powders, moisture activates this product so it needs to be kept in a moisture proof container. For this reason, I recommend your purchase the Bucket first and then refill soft packs thereafter.

Directions for Use:

Use 1 x 25g scoop in dispenser of machine.  Store out of direct sunlight.
