Gingerlily & Cardamom (Moisture Rich) Shampoo For Dry or Damaged Hair Types
Tri Nature says:
Tri Nature’s Gingerlily & Cardamom (Moisture Rich) Shampoo is a gentle and moisturising, naturally derived shampoo with an exotic Ginger Lily & Cardamom essential oil based fragrance, formulated to nourish dry and damaged hair, and restore the hair’s natural balances.
Fortified with Wheat Proteins, Amino Acids, Panthenol, Vitamin E and extracts of Horsetail & Nettle to ensure shiny, healthy looking hair, these pH balanced products will revitalise dry and damaged hair.
My Experience:
For best results, use with the Tri Nature Gingerlily & Cardamom (Moisture Rich) Conditioner.
As my hair is quite dry, this is the Shampoo I favour and I absolutely LOVE it!
Unlike other brands, the Tri Nature Shampoos and Conditioners don’t strip your hair and then refill it with stuff each time you wash. What this means is that you won’t find the need to change out what you’re using every few months. And if you have coloured hair, it will help the colour last as there are no harsh chemicals to strip it.
My hair is quite long and goes 3/4 of the way down my back. I use only a 20c piece worth of shampoo and I find that’s enough. When you first start using it, you may find that it doesn’t foam up very much but if you can deal with the lack of bubbles, you will see that it cleans very well regardless. I found that once the build up from other products was gone, the Tri Nature Shampoo foams up just fine.
Gingerlily & Cardamom (Moisture Rich) is absolutely suitable for people with itchy scalps, dandruff, eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis on their head, behind their ears or down the back of their neck. As Moisture Rich contains no nasty chemicals, it will not irritate or further aggravate any of the above conditions.
Note:
Depending on what you have been using before, while your hair and scalp are rebalancing, there may be a period of up to 3 weeks where your hair goes limp. Push through it and it will be fantastic. This may not happen at everyone. I like to make people aware because it happened to me and I thought the products were rubbish when that was not the case.
Fragrance Description:
Tri Nature describes this smell as: Sensual top notes of Ginger, Cardamom and Clary Sage add to the floral heart of Orchid, Rose, Water Lily and Freesia on a woody base of Musk, Amber, Vanilla and Sandalwood.
Ginger Lily and Cardamom are the predominant smells.
This one smells a bit odd when you first smell it in the bottle. I wasn’t convinced about this smell at all. I have found that it smells quite different in the shower and I actually really love the smell. To me, it’s an earthy rainforest floor kind of smell.
All of the pure herbal extracts and many of the naturally derived materials Tri Nature use have their own distinctive and often not very pleasant smell. Most of them are certainly not attractive enough to satisfy the consumer’s requirements for pleasant aroma. Tri Nature therefore add essential oil blends or essential oil based fragrances to the products so that a commercially acceptable result is obtained. All fragrances used by Tri Nature are phthalate-free.
