Alpha Plus Laundry Powder

Tri Nature’s award winning Alpha Plus Laundry Powder has no fillers or extenders, it is 100%  concentrate and it dissolves completely in water and rinses away.

There is nothing in Tri Nature laundry products to irritate the skin or harm the environment.  There are no phosphates, nitrates, zeolites, chlorine, bleaches, petrochemicals, or any other chemical nasties.

Fillers and extenders are commonly used in most laundry products to bulk out the product without the expense of an active ingredient, to “fill” the bucket, so to speak, and dilute down the active ingredients.

Fillers are often made from things that don’t dissolve (I have heard crushed light globes and bone but I have never been able to prove or disprove this), so apart from leaving the visible residue (powder streaks), fillers get stuck in the fabric of clothes and can irritate the skin as well as wearing fabrics and building up in (and wrecking) your machine.

You will not have these issues with Tri Nature’s Alpha Plus range.  Your clothes will be brighter once all the fillers and extenders from previous products are washed out. Your machine will last longer without any of the clogging caused by other products.

I recommend, the first time you purchase Tri Nature laundry powder, you finish off whatever your are currently using, descale your machine thoroughly (to get rid of any build up of fillers and extenders and silicone from previous products) and then start using Tri Nature and only use Tri Nature.  This will give you a proper feel for how well this powder really works.

If you don’t descale your machine, or if you chop and change products, you risk having the Tri Nature powder break down any build up of fillers/extenders/silicone in your machine and have it come out on your clothing.  This can make it look as though the Tri Nature powder is leaving chunks of gunk on your clothes, when it’s your old products that are actually causing the issue.

I also recommend you purchase the bucket first up, as it is moisture proof. If moisture gets into the powder, it will activate in the bag and become less effective in the wash.  Once you have the bucket, you purchase the soft pack refills.

This powder is suitable for use in top or front loaders using hot or cold water.  As the products are made in a hard water area, I have found that instructions on usage quantities can be halved in town water areas.  People on rainwater have found they can use even less.

At full retail and the halved usage amounts, cost works out to around $0.41 per load in a top loader (1 scoop) and $0.22 in a front loader (1/2 scoop).  High efficiency washers use front loader quantities.  A scoop is included.

From the 1kg bag I get 40 washes in a top loader and 80 washes in a front loader.

Supre Multipurpose Cleaner

A gentle, yet powerful herbal based cleaning solution for wiping away greasy contaminations quickly and easily.   Ideal for use on a variety of sound hard surfaces such as tiles, bench tops, laminate, painted surfaces and outdoor areas.   Supre offers superior cleaning performance without the harsh odours or toxic residues of ordinary household cleaners.

Supre is one of Tri Nature’s most popular products and is ideal for a wide range of greasy and difficult cleaning jobs.  This is your spray and wipe replacement and it comes in Eucalyptus scent.  Spray on, leave about 5 mins and there is not much you have to scrub to get off.

The 500ml bottle is a premixed, ready to use version that is great if you just want to try or if you don’t use a multipurpose cleaner very often.

Sphagnum Moss Disinfectant

A gentle yet powerful naturally derived disinfectant and hard surface cleaner boosted with a synergistic blend of antimicrobial plant extracts to quickly and completely disinfect hard surfaces.

Tri Nature disinfectants are highly concentrated and must be used at the recommended dilution levels.

Grey water, septic and bio-cycle system safe, this is one of the most popular Tri Nature products and one that people recognise the most.  It smells fantastic!  Kills odours and germs on surfaces and in the air on contact.

A lot of people think they have no use for a disinfectant but here are just some of the ways you can use Sphag Moss:

Sphagnum Moss is designed to kill germs but it does have some cleaning properties.  If you are just doing a general maintenance clean, Sphag Moss is great to use anywhere you like and I have many customers who use it all over the house.  If you have more heavy duty cleaning to do, I recommend Supre Multipurpose Cleaner.

Another handy tip is that I always keep a 50ml spray bottle of this in my handbag.  I use it in public toilets and in hotel showers and bathrooms when I travel.  Some exciting varieties of foot germs are highly contagious.

NO CHLORINE, NO PHOSPHATES, NO NITRATES

Enhance Pre Wash Stain Remove Spray

This is your Preen Stain Remover Spray replacement and a very popular product.  Brian McLean, the chemist who created the Tri Nature range, is particularly proud of this one. If you have ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding, where the man uses Windex on everything, well, Brian is a bit like that with his Enhance!

I get 95% of stains out with this before the clothes even go into the wash.  Unlike supermarket brands, Enhance contains no kerosene so I find I can put it on up to a week before I wash my clothes and it doesn’t eat away the fabric or stain my clothes even further.  I rub this in after I spray it on for the best results.

Moisturising Hand Wash

A gentle but powerful hand wash for removing dirt, grease and grime, suitable for the home, office, or industrial workplace.  This handwash is actually purchased by the mines for employees to wash off mining dirt and dust.  It is terrific for painters, mechanics and engineers to remove grease and paint. It is much more effective that you would expect for something so gentle.

I have so many customers who have switched to this and cleared up all kinds of dermatitis and skin irritations on their hands.  It is especially popular with nurses, childcare workers and kitchen staff, and any other workers in jobs that requires frequent hand washing.

Enhanced with skin conditioning emollients and Vitamin E, Tri Nature Moisturising Hand Wash leaves the skin feeling conditioned and soft.

Tri Nature describes the fragrance as “Fresh ozonic, green citrus top notes add sparkle to a fresh aldehydic floral heart of Rose, Jasmine and Neroli on a warm spicy woody base”.

By way of further explanation:

• Aldehydic refers to a floral and usually citrusy lemon/orange scent,
• Ozonic refers to a watery-airy freshness, like the air after heavy rain.

As with all Tri Nature products, the fragrances are made from plants and essential oils.  No phthalates/synthetic perfumes are used.

The pH balanced formula is rich with coconut oil and is suitable for use on all skin types.  With no soap or SLS. And a pH of about 7.5, the moisturising handwash is far more gentle than soap.  It also makes a great body wash.

Put it on neat at the start of the day to act as a barrier, especially useful for gardening, farm work, working on cars/engines, fishing, etc.

The 500ml bottle comes with 2ml pump on it and you only need about half a pump at most per use.  I get 4-6 months per 500ml bottle using it several times per day.

Once you have used up the 500ml bottle, keep it and purchase 1L, 5L or a 20L to top it up.  If you purchase a 5L or 20L (which is 4 * 5L bottles) you can purchase a 30ml pump to make refilling the 500ml bottle easy and reduce spillage.

Chamomile Dishwashing Liquid

An amazingly gentle herbal based dishwashing liquid that cuts through the toughest grease and heavily baked on soils with ease.

Chamomile Dishwashing Liquid will leave dishes gleaming bright, and glassware sparkling clean and streak free, leaving no toxic residue. This liquid is also perfect for washing fruit.

Extracts of Chamomile and Marshmallow leave your hands soft and nourished.  Sorry kids, marshmallow the weed, not the lolly. Marshmallow resin binds and heals broken skin which makes it a fantastic inclusion in this liquid.

Effective in hot or cold water, Chamomile Dishwashing Liquid is ideal for people who normally react to dishwashing liquids or gloves and those who have dry or cracked skin on their hands.  It is suitable for use as an overall body wash or even a bubble bath for children with very sensitive skin.

Just 4ml per sinkload is required so a 500m bottle lasts 125 washes.  It’s very economical!  A 4ml pump comes on the 500ml bottle so you can dispense exactly the right amount and not be wasteful.

Dilute 1 pump (2ml) into a 498ml of water to clean plant leaves safely and to clean ceaser stone benchtops.

I am often asked if this liquid bubbles up. I find that it does, although the bubbles don’t last as long as supermarket brands. However, it is important to note that bubbles do not clean, they simply sit on the surface of the water and make us happy. Bubbles are also no indication of whether a product is effective or not.

I do find the Chamomile bubbles better once there is no residue of previous products in the sink and also in hotter water.  But the product is active and effective regardless of the presence of bubbles.

Chamomile is soap and SLS free so it will not remove the natural oils (acid mantle) from your skin but it’s still effective on grease and grime. Many years ago, there was a oil spill near Phillip Island in Victoria. Tri Nature donated many bottles of Chamomile Dishwashing Liquid and it was used to clean the oil off the Little Penguins without removing the natural (and vital) oils from their coats. This story is one of the many reasons I love this product.

Fragrances:

All of the pure herbal extracts and many of the naturally derived materials Tri Nature use have their own distinctive and often not very pleasant smell. Most of them are certainly not attractive enough to satisfy the consumer’s requirements for pleasant aroma. Tri Nature therefore add essential oil blends or essential oil based fragrances to the products so that a commercially acceptable result is obtained.   All fragrances used by Tri Nature are phthalate-free.
